Actor and gospel singer Ken Kayange opens up on why he did the film a letter to my parents.

  "That's not my story."   C learly, it is undeniable that the story moved many people who had an opportunity to watch the emotional letter that has been voiced and narrated with a video attached to it on YouTube.  Many people keep asking whether that was a real-life story.... My Answer is - Yes. This short film was deeply inspired by the things that were happening in my life at that moment when I was writing the script. Literally, that was the lowest moment of my life, I had lost my job, lost most of the things that I had deemed as valuable to me. The circumstances which led to my loosing of the job were unclear and left me heartbroken in a big way. I didn't know how to move on from it and life stopped for a moment.  Looking back at the happenings, I imagined how many people went through the same issues daily.
